Custom Video Ad - Haven Life Insurance

BRIEF

Haven Life Insurance was a newcomer to Amazon Advertising. The brand had limited internal creative resources, agency support, and budget – but wanted to take advantage of Amazon’s video ad network. Our team was tasked with creating a custom video ad that was timeless, relatable, and unique to shoppers on and off Amazon.

ROLE

As General Manager, I was the captain of this unique project. This was the first project where I was tasked with thinking beyond the Amazon ecosystem as the ad spot would be used across O&O and competitor channels. Together with my dedicated team—we selected an agency partner that was skilled in animation and could orchestrate a fun, creative video ad that met the needs of this small advertiser. I had spent my career mostly serving the publisher side, but this was the first instance where I played the "ghost client" to produce a fun advertising experience on behalf of a niche brand.
